Breastfeeding complaint leads to apology
KITCHENER — Kristin Howard was enjoying a Sunday swim with her family at the Lyle S. Hallman pool when her five-month-old son started to fuss. Without a second thought, Howard got out of the pool, sat on a ledge near the waterslide and nursed her hungry baby. Male Boost for Breastfeeding
April 20, 2010 Ireland's northwest is enlisting the help of fathers in a bid to boost breastfeeding rates in the region. Calgarians join class action $15M lawsuit against birth control makers
April 9, 2010 Eight months after Chloe Papparis began taking a birth control pill for acne, she almost died from severe side-effects, she says. Papparis is among 800 Canadians taking part in class-action lawsuits against the manufacturer of two birth control drugs, Yaz and Yasmin, which they allege have caused severe reactions, including seven deaths.
