Craving Change (TM)

Changing Your Relationship with Food

Do you struggle with your eating?  Are you an emotional eater?  Do you eat because you're bored?  Do you continue to eat even when you're full because there's still food on your plate (there are, after all, starving children in Africa)?  Would you like to learn why you eat and learn techniques and tools to manage your eating?   If you answered "yes" to any of these questions then Craving ChangeTM may be for you.

Craving ChangeTM is about learning why you eat and unlearing the behaviours that contribute to problematic eating.

During the Craving ChangeTM workshop you will:

  • Learn about the bio-psycho-social factors that influence eating
  • Increase awareness of your personal eating triggers and patterns
  • Unlearn behaviours
  • Apply the cognitive-behavioural approach
  • Learn about and choose from the "Change Buffet" of techniques for changing triggers and the eating response.
  • Share and apply the change strategies.
  • Set goals

Craving ChangeTM is not about losing weight.  It is not a diet program.  It is about looking at your eating habits and making changes.

This program will teach you who to develop habits that will not only affect your eating, but will help you establish positive eating habits for your children and your entire family.

This 4-session workshop is taught by Melanie Taylor who has taught and facilitated numerous wellness and safety programs.  Melanie participated in the Craving ChangeTM workshop herself and as a result stopped before dinner snacking and boredom eating, which has led to her feeling healthier and not having to suck in to do up her jeans!
